These Terms govern your use of our website and the information, materials, and services offered through it. By accessing or browsing this site, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
1. Definitions
- “leuKmakers”, “leuK.world”, “we,” “our” or “us” means leuKmakers, a foundation incorporated under the laws of The Netherlands, registered in Zeist, P.O. Box 1, 3700 AA Zeist.
- “Site” means leuK.world and any sub-pages operated by leuKmakers.
- “Content” means all text, graphics, publications, artwork, audio, video, data and code appearing on the Site.
- “Visitor,” “you” or “your” means any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Site.
2. Acceptance of the terms
By visiting or using the Site you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies incorporated by reference (including our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer). If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the Site.
3. Scope and purpose
The Site serves an informational and referential function. We not sell books or other products directly through the Site; all purchases are made via independent third-party retailers or service partners. Accordingly, these Terms regulate:
the permissible use of the Site and its Content;
our liability in relation to information, publications and links provided; and
allocation of risk concerning production, typographical or technical errors.
4. Intellectual property
- Unless expressly stated otherwise, all Content is protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights owned or licensed by us.
- You may view, print or download reasonable portions of the Content solely for non-commercial, personal reference. Any other reproduction, distribution, public performance, adaptation, translation, reverse-engineering or derivative use requires prior written consent from us.
- Nothing in these Terms transfers, licenses or otherwise conveys any intellectual-property right to you except the limited right of use described in 4.2.
5. Permitted and prohibited use
- You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Without limitation, you must not:
- interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site;
- use automated means (bots, crawlers, scraping) to collect data from the Site without our prior written consent;
- falsely imply an affiliation with us; or
- upload or transmit malicious code or material that infringes third-party rights.
6. External links and partner sites
- The Site contains hyperlinks to websites or services operated by third parties. Such links are provided for convenience only.
- We do not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices of external sites. Transactions concluded on partner sites are governed by the partner’s own terms and policies; we are not a party to those contracts and assumes no liability in that regard.
7. Information accuracy, production and typographical errors
- We strive for accuracy in all publications and online information. Nonetheless, manifest editorial, production, typesetting or technical errors (“Errata”) may occur.
- We reserve the right to correct Errata without prior notice. No rights may be derived from such Errata, and we are not liable for damage arising therefrom unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- If you discover an apparent error, please notify us at hello@leuK.world; we will review and, where appropriate, correct it promptly.
8. No warranties
- The Site and Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses, nor that the Content is complete, accurate or current.
9. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we, our officers, directors, employees and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data or business interruption) arising out of or in connection with:
- your access to, use of or inability to use the Site;
- reliance on any Content;
- Errata as described in Section 7; or
- third-party links or partner sites.
- If, notwithstanding the foregoing, we are held liable for any damage, our aggregate liability shall not exceed € 100 or the minimum amount allowed by law, whichever is higher.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms—and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them—shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Dutch law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in the district where we have its statutory seat, unless mandatory law prescribes otherwise.
